In 2012, I started to awaken to intuitive and healing abilities that coincided with my pregnancies. The first pregnancy opened me up to deeper intuitive gifts and the second one to healing. I believe my children’s souls activated gifts and curiosities that lay dormant within me.
I had been open, supportive, and curious about healing and intuitive talents in others throughout my life, however, when it came to me, it triggered fears I did not understand. Since childhood, I have had premonitions and psychic experiences however I did not understand them as such due to distorted or preconceived notions of what these abilities were about.
The big turning point was in 2017 when I started exploring the deeper levels of my soul through regular meditation, soul plan, and hypnosis (past life, life between lives, & QHHT). What I was seeing, perceiving, feeling, and connecting with energetically was beyond anything I had experienced in my life until then. As I tapped into higher frequencies, I would see and experience myself in other (dimensional) forms and spaces. I could feel and communicate with other beings and channel healing energy, sounds, and light language.
It was also in 2017 that I learned more about my birth and time in my mother’s womb which revealed experiences; such as a (vanishing) twin that I previously did not know about, and other information about consciousness that I am still unraveling today. It was a year of a lot of information and extraordinary experiences, and I found myself overwhelmed. My world was rocked in the most exciting and validating way, but expressing my inner knowing paralyzed me with fear.
I decided to go back to what I knew and enjoyed best – reading books and studying, which helped build my confidence and emotional resilience. I became an avid reader in the esoteric and mystical, the sciences, and in the mind, body, and spirit genre. I committed to frequent meditations, healing sessions, workshops, courses, and retreats to understand what I was experiencing but also to unblock any (unconscious) fears that were holding me back.
Additionally, I had been in the career field of International Development since 2001 (to learn more go to my profile on LinkedIn). I worked on donor-funded aid programs around the world for nearly two decades, mainly in extremely poor and war-torn countries. This type of service is rewarding and important to a certain level, but I believe that it does not get to the root of the issues that exist at the individual and collective level. I am referring to the long-term inter-generational trauma and cultural patterns that continue to resurface time after time.
As I experimented with the various ways of working with energy, frequency, and vibrations; I gained a deeper understanding of how we create and transform our reality, and the impact this has on the collective field. I felt that the overseas assistance was perpetuating the very issues we were looking to resolve. I decided to leave the industry because I felt called to work in a different way, a way (or path) that calls us to look within. I believe that the greatest change and impact we can make in this world is the one we make within ourselves which then expands out to the collective (energetic) field.
Parallel to my inner journey, I qualified as a Spiritual (Holistic) Counsellor, Spiritual (Holistic) Life Coach, Soul Plan Practitioner, Soul Transformation Therapist, and Hypnotherapist. The more I healed myself the greater my awareness expanded to include the wisdom (answers) that are buried inside. The inner journey is ongoing and the more self-aware I become, the more comfortable I am expressing my truth and talents; and the greater my ability to guide others on their inner healing journeys without fear.
In 2019, I started expressing my journey and visions through paintings. I found that the process of drawing and painting was very intuitive depicting the ‘unseen’ or unconscious aspects that are ready to be seen, felt, and embodied. The images are archetypal and reflect the inner journey of exploration and discovery that also coincides with the ebb and flow of the collective energy field. The paintings may provide clues into the subconscious and reveal deeper aspects of the Self, and therefore serve as great tools for self-reflection and healing. There is usually a correlation to the physical and emotional body, and also to what is happening in the collective field. To learn more please visit my Art Gallery.
What lights me up is raising awareness of our multidimensional universe and inspiring others to see for themselves and know for themselves, and encourage others to leap within to follow their highest calling.
