Radiate Thirteen is the original artwork from which the Marigold Rising collection emerged. Inspired by a vision during a Soul Plan reading in 2021, the painting explores transformation, renewal, and the emergence of inner wisdom through the symbolic language of the marigold and the ancient geometry of the Flower of Life.

As I developed the painting, I became fascinated by the marigold's thirteen-petaled form and its connection to the thirteen circles of the Fruit of Life. Together, these symbols became the visual foundation for exploring what is hidden, what takes root, and what is ultimately revealed.

Several years later, I returned to the painting and began deconstructing it into individual motifs. Each pattern within Marigold Rising originated from a different fragment of Radiate Thirteen, transforming a single artwork into a coordinated surface pattern collection while preserving the symbolism and narrative of the original vision.
